Philips to unveil 42-inch full HD LCD with LED backlight

Philips unveiled a 42-inch full HD LCD display with new LED backlight at IFA 2008 held on Aug 29 to Sep 3 in Berlin, Germany. This revolutionary new LED lights are used in a grid as backlight for the LCD display creating an image with deepest black alongside maximum output and color in bright areas.
